Digital nomad visas: Six countries currently offering one-year programs (E34)
Show Notes

Six countries officially offer visa programs directly targeting digital nomads, and two more have programs in the works. Check back in a few months, and there likely will be more countries added to the list. Why? In an effort to boost local economies — especially on the heels of the Covid pandemic — countries are looking to lure workers who have the ability to work from anywhere. And there are more and more of them every day.  (Make sure you check out Ep. 16:  There has never been a better time to work remotely and travel—ever!) The message is clear: Since you can work from anywhere, why not spend your money here?

The official list of countries with digital nomad visas:

  • Barbados
  • Bermuda
  • Anguilla
  • Estonia
  • Dubai
  • Georgia

Aruba and Croatia also have programs in the works. We suggest you do your research because there are several considerations to evaluate, such as location, cost of living, visa fees and proof of income.
